Heerlijke plek. Prachtig uitzicht over het Toscaanse landschap. Goed zwembad met ligstoelen. Goed appartement. Uitrusting wat betreft dingen als zout, olie, peper zou aan te raden zijn. Matrassen zijn minder.
Die Lage der Unterkunft war traumhaft, wenn man Ruhe und Natur will. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal, aber gemütlich. Wir fanden es sauber und toll, dass der große Pool aller zwei Tage gereinigt wurde. Der Pizzaofen war eine tolle Erfahrung. Der Weg zum Domizil ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber für geübte Fahrer völlig in Ordnung, dafür wird man eben mit einer tollen Aussicht und ruhigen Lage belohnt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns super gepasst hat. Zusätzlich sollte man erwähnen, dass das W-Lan nur im Wohnzimmer und in der oberen Etage gut ist, aber uns hat das nicht wirklich gestört. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und der Reiseagentur war einwandfrei.
Wir hatten im Sommer 2024 eine wundervolle Zeit in der Villa Marisa. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen Dorf auf einem Pass. Auch im Hochsommer sind die Temperaturen hier angenehmer als in den nahegelegenen Städten. Der Pool ist groß und gut gewartet. Vor allem unsere Kinder hatten einen Riesenspaß beim Schwimmen. Die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen: Im Erdgeschoss gib es eine kleine Küche (mit Spülmaschine!) und ein schönes großes Esszimmer. Um Das Haus herum gibt es weitere Sitzecken, Grills, einen Pizzaofen und sogar einen kleinen Spielplatz. Die Schlafzimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Die beiden Badezimmer sind klein, aber sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Waschmachine in einem kleinen Extraraum, der von Außen zu erreichen ist.
In der Umgebung kann man durch die Berge wandern und die Städte in der Umgebung besuchen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We had a wonderful time at Villa Marisa in the summer of 2024. The house is located in a small village on a pass. Even in midsummer, the temperatures here are more pleasant than in the nearby towns. The pool is large and well maintained. Our children in particular had a lot of fun swimming in it. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: On the ground floor there is a small kitchen (with dishwasher!) and a lovely large dining room. Around the house there are further seating areas, barbecues, a pizza oven and even a small playground. The bedrooms are clean and spacious. The two bathrooms are small, but clean and functional. There is a washing machine in a small extra room that can be reached from the outside.
In the surrounding area you can hike through the mountains and visit the towns in the neighbourhood.
Wunderschönes Setting und sehr gepflegt und romantisch. Manko: Zufahrt über lange Schotterstrasse (45 min bis zum Supermarkt). Mir war ein Reifen wegen der steinigen Straße geplatzt und stand 4 Tage ohne Auto da. Vermieter sehr freundlich.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Beautiful setting and very well maintained and romantic. Disadvantage: Access via a long gravel road (45 minutes to the supermarket). My tire burst because of the rocky road and I was without a car for 4 days. Landlord very friendly.
Ligging huis is centraal, weinig toeristen. Tuinmeubilair is alleen geschikt voor het eten. Geen relaxstoelen om even lekker in de tuin te zitten (was slechts 1 aanwezig voor 8 personen). Bij warmte is het huis te warm van binnen. 1 mobiele airco aanwezig kon de capaciteit niet aan en maakte heel erg lawaai. Bedden waren slecht, tevens 2 slaapkamers met stapelbed wat niet geschikt is voor kinderen vanaf 12 jaar en dit staat niet duidelijk op de website aangegeven. Keukengerei heel oud en incompleet. Zwembad was goed en werd netjes onderhouden. Host was verder vriendelijk en doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken en geven veel tips over de omgeving. Ik vond het huisje te duur voor wat je krijgt.
Prachtig huis, ruim en compleet + smaakvol ingericht. Unieke, rustige ligging op een berg met fantastisch uitzicht en heerlijk zwembad. Eigenaresse Elisa woont naast het huis en is leuk en behulpzaam. Wij huurden het hele huis voor 10 personen en bevelen het op die manier absoluut aan. In plaats van airconditioning zijn er ventilatoren, de slaapkamers boven werden (in juli) wel erg warm (rond 28 graden). Een auto is onmisbaar en de weg naar het huis toe is uitdagend.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Beautiful house, spacious and complete + tastefully decorated. Unique, quiet location on a mountain with fantastic views and lovely pool. Owner Elisa lives next to the house and is nice and helpful. We rented the whole house for 10 people and absolutely recommend it that way. Instead of air conditioning there are fans, the upstairs bedrooms did get very hot (around 28 degrees in July). A car is essential and the road to the house is challenging.

Een gezellig rustiek appartement met lekker veel ruimte binnen en een mooi groot en schoon zwembad met genoeg bedjes en parasols.
En Luigi is echt een hele vriendelijke man. Bedankt Luigi voor alles!
An outstanding place to stay in Tuscany! I am so happy we chose to rent this property….three weeks in the summer was a bucket list fulfilled….to live for a bit in Italy, not just a night or two here and there. The property is better than the pictures show. A very old villa, extremely well maintained. We had 11 kids and grandkids the first week, 7 the second week, and 4 adult couples the third week. Ample room, large enough kitchen, great unique bedrooms, the pool was very well used and enjoyed every day. Owners Sonia, Mirco, and Debra were very accessible, took care of minor issues when they occurred, were so very helpful and made our stay very special. The nearby town of San Donato was very cool…medieval streets and buildings, three great restaurants, a cafe for coffee in the morning or gelato later in the day, walking distance from the Villa…..very cool. Also a smallish COOP food store….think small grocery store but with cheeses, meats, produce, wine….all you need ….although we did head to nearby Poggibonsi a couple of times to shop at a truly large grocery with many more choices. Highly recommend having a rental car as we used it often to visit nearby towns, many winery visits, and trips to the Airport to pick up and deliver our guests. Thank you Debra, Mirco and Sonia.
