Wir waren von Ventena Vecchia begeistert. Wir hatten das Appartement Olivaio, von dem man einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Toscana hat. Das Appartement selbst hat eine für 2 Personen angenehme Größe und ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Die praktische Küchenzeile ist mit modernen Geräten ausgestattet. Geschirr und Gläser - sogar mit Wein- und Sektgläsern, was in Italien nicht überall üblich ist - stehen in ausreichendem Umfang (Spülmaschine!) zur Verfügung und sind von guter Qualität. Das Wohnzimmer ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und TV bietet eine Vielzahl von Programmen bei ausgezeichnetem Empfang. Das Schlafzimmer hat eine ebenso geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Die Matratzen des Bettes sind sehr bequem. Das Bad bietet sogar Doppelwaschbecken, Bidet und eine sehr große Dusche. Die Auswahl der Materialien ist wie in den anderen Räumen geschmackvoll und auf überdurchschnittlichem Niveau. Der Pool ist sauber. Der Poolbereich bietet bequeme Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme. Auflagen für die Liegen und Badetücher gehören zur Ausstattung des Appartements! Das gesamte Anwesen wird liebevoll betreut und gepflegt. Der Parkplatz befindet sich auf dem Gelände, und das das Gelände ist geschlossen. Internet im Zimmer funktioniert einwandfrei, was für mich eine neue Erfahrung in Italien war. Die sympathischen Vermieter haben eine Oase der Ruhe geschaffen und erweisen sich auch bei gemeinsamen Abenden im großen Gastraum als exzellente Gastgeber. Wir hatten zudem das Glück, dass ein schneller und guter Kontakt zu allen anderen Gästen entstand. Ein gelungener Urlaub bei dem keine Wünsche offen blieben.

Villa was built some 30 years ago, the idea and design were excellent, but it looks like that during recent years the owners didn't invest much and quite a number of things needs to be improved.
In general villa was clean.
Villa's location quite convenient, only 12 kilometers to the center of Arezzo, within one hour drive to Sansepolcro, La Verna, Michelangelo Caprese.
From my view the kitchen is the first object to be renovated- equipment, furniture, accessories should be replaced and updated.
For those visitors who plans to stay in this villa second half of June one will recommend to visit Arezzo to see Giostra del Saracino - quite impressive performance.
The owners are very nice people, cooperative, friendly.

I saw that you did not have a positive review on the kitchen: The kitchen is in the Tuscan style and was purchased 7 years ago, there are all major appliances : an oven,
the dishwasher, the obd, and it is equipped with all utensils for cooking and eating.
we also had a microwave, but it was broken and we decided to not replace it.

This villa is excellent from a bedroom to pool to facilities perspective. However, please be cautious that the driveway into the villa is along a very narrow alley and with a few angles to navigate. We got our rental car scratched so, this holiday cost is 50% more than we intended to. I didn't read about this anywhere on the documents we were sent, nor from other reviews.

I was very pleased with our experience. We stayed for a long time (2 weeks) and the apartment was very good. It was convenient to Florence and other sites. The local town (Inchisa) is small but we could easily walk to the market or to take the train to Florence or other cities. We especially enjoyed the pool since it has a 25 meter length so we could swim laps properly.

We had a bit of difficulty locating the property but it truly is great with plenty of ground and leisure facilities in the grounds. There are plenty of places to visit within easy reach of the property which make it ideal, whatever the weather

The villa is very beautifully located with a big yard with great views and a good sized pool for kids that know swimming. The host was helpful. With no heating the house became quite damp after two days of rain. Warm water ceased to work after a few days, but was fixed within one day.

The view from the top of the tower from the terrace is one of the best views you will ever have in your life. It makes you feel like a celebrity to stay here. It is a very special place. Giulia the owner does a great job explaining how everything works and provides a very nice welcome "gift basket" with lots of helpful items. There is no question that you need to be somewhat fit to stay here due to all of the stairs but you get used to the logistics as the stay goes on and the view from the top makes it all worthwhile. San Gimignano is a stunningly beautiful town and it is even better at night and in the morning before the bus tours arrive for their visits. It is like something right out of a movie. Highly recommended for a very unique vacation.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis: endroit propre, très bien situé, accès facile par le funiculaire, vue fantastique. Excellent séjour en Toscane!
