This is a really cute little place and we really enjoyed our stay there. Small and cosy but has everything you need, and the outdoor area with pool is great. The temperature was amazing cool and comfortable inside in spite of the incredibly hot summer weather we had. The owners are wonderful, and we would definitely stay here again if we were lucky enough to come back to Tuscany!

Casa Ivan is a truly a vacation place, which we can recommend full heartedly. The owners were very friendly and we felt like being part of the family. The house is nice, and it's very well furnished with good style. The location is quiet and within few minutes car drive from Cortona. (Forgot to comment erlier, but now considering renting the house again)

We had a lovely week at La Fattoria, Villa Fabbroni in June 2010. The location of the villa is fabulous for those wishing to get away from it all, relax and enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Hiring a car is absolutely essential to make the most of your stay - with major cities (Florence, Siena) and smaller towns/villages of the Chianti region within easy reach for day trips.

Pretty area and convenient for touring in Tuscany. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Restaurant is good but overpriced. It appeals to people who want more of a hotel experience when renting a villa. The road beside the property is a bit noisy, people wishing a quiet and secluded vacation should look elsewhere.

The Villa Uccellaia was the perfect stay! Beautiful area, quiet surroundings. The area felt safe. No traffic close to the property. The kids loved the pool, play area and the church were they had lots of fun. The sitting areas around the house were all very nice but we found our favorite spot. We were two families with three little boys.
The care taker, Roberto was very helpful. Took care of the garden and pool every morning.
We would love to come back one day.

Amazing views, stunning sunsets, fabulous hostess with great family history and charm (can't say enough about this one in words!!!), and quiet, small hometown feel. There are plenty of activities within driving distances of 1-2 hours or less to make the Tuscany area complete. Easy access to the COOP and other local needs. Recommend paying attention on hours of operation for afternoon closures, am/pm, and weekend/holiday closures. I would recommend bringing your motion sickness drugs for those who have difficulty in the car-lots of windy roads, but views that make it all worth while!!! Michelle, Wayland, MA-USA

The property and gardens of Casa Luciana are truly beautiful, with plenty of space for children to enjoy a run around and of course have the use of the lovely pool. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable and the communual areas are spacious and very well equipped. As a family, we have rented villas in Italy before and Casa Luciana is now at the top of our list. We had a wonderful family holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other families. The owners provided a warm welcome and were extremely helpful (the locally made wine was excellent). All going well, we will return.

Torre San Gimignano was excellent - we really enjoyed the view from the top of the tower and the market on Tuesdays. Fantastic experience - I would recommend it to anyone.
