What a great place to stay and experience the Tuscan life. Although the house is small, it is well equipped and gives all the comfort you need. The view from the terrace near the pool is great. The Puccini’s were perfect hosts and helped us without being intrusive. The accommodation was clean. The pool and garden were great. We experienced a lot of privacy . We both would return without hesitation. A small confusion was the distant sound of an ongoing party in Camucia. Part of the Italian life we presume. Booking through Easy Reserve went flawless.

We had a wonderful time at Col Di Forche. We loved how isolated we felt on the hilltop, but it was only a 10 minutes to the little town to have dinner at a great restaurant that the property manager suggested. The house was great and the pool was lots of fun and relaxing after a morning of exploring. We had fun cooking dinner and eating on the patio. We were glad that there was air- conditioning in the bedroom because it was pretty warm in August when we were there. We can't say enough good things about our experience there.
Property was in very good nick, well suited to our party of 12. Made to feel very welcome by Andrea and parents who lived at the villa, despite some language barriers! Some old furnishings and decorations gave the place character, whilst all amenities provided a modern experience for us. Nice pool (not very deep though) and gorgeous views towards Arezzo. Plentiful eating outside space and games.
Our stay at Villa Carolina was fantastic! At the first evening, we enjoyed a delicious pizza prepared by our hosts. Also the local wine tasted very well, ... we could use a drink after climbing with our cars at the top of the hill, where the villa is located, which indeed offers a breathtaking view of Poggibonsi,... We had everything we needed in the villa. The kids had a wonderfull time in the swimming pool and also the adults could use some refreshment in this african-atmosphere (40°C). The villa is perfectly located to visit San Gimignano, Poggibonsi, ... We wish the hosts Lucia & Gabrielle and daughter Carol all the best! And we surely hope to come back one day !!! Fam. Timperman.
If you want to feel special then your hosts will not disappoint. Once you find the villa - it was a little tricky to find even with a GPS as it is situated in an isolated location- you are made to feel like the long lost relative; warm embraces and appetizers await your arrival. The property offers a pool on top of a hill overlooking vineyards and olive groves as far as the eye can see and although the grounds are tended to almost daily, your privacy is well respected and your every need, tended to. We had to make alternate arrangements for the following week which required changing our flights back to Canada and our host was wonderful enough to print all our boarding documents and bring them to us thus easing our anxiety. This is a place where you will rediscover every star of the galaxy (WOW) and find the tranquility to refresh the soul.
Our family consisting of 10 adults, two youngsters of 8 and 10, and an infant enjoyed the hospitality of Casa Luciana in August of 2012. We all had a wonderful time and were sad when the week came to an end. The amenities and beauty of the villa with the surrounding orchards exceeded our expectations.
The air conditioning was a great help during our stay. The swimming pool and surrounding area were thoroughly enjoyed by all members of the family. We also enjoyed and were very comfortable in the sitting areas around the building. Most of our meals were taken in the outdoor areas and dinners were taken under the canopy at the long table. Three of our dinners were prepared by the chef and her assistant. The food was excellent and everything was well taken care of.
We enthusiastically recommend Casa Luciana for any family wishing to have a memorable and unique vacation.
We were 4 families of 8 adults and 7 teens on a week holiday. We had the most wonderful stay in Villa Pedone! Altho the weather was very hot, we always managed to find some pleasant shade and a bit of breeze. And the pool was very refreshing. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful aspect with views all around. There are also plenty of spaces for everyone to find a little peace, a place for a companionable chat or for the teens to make a joyful noise without disturbing anyone. I must say that AnnaMaria, the caretaker, was amazing. She stocked the house with food, at our request. She also made us 3 delicious dinners which we ate at the big table on the terrace by the pool. Nothing was too much trouble for her - she was a gem. We enjoyed a magical week in Villa Pedone - I hope everyone who visits there will share our experience.
We are a family with two small kids. This was the perfect place for us. It is centrally located and very close to San Gimignano (a beautiful little town with lots of character dinner options in the evenings and off course the best gelaterias). We could balance our holiday relaxing around the beautiful pool with a stunning view or visiting the tourist attractions in the area. With each apartment having a private table area in the garden, we could enjoy lunches outside under the warm Tuscan sun and there is plenty of space for the kids to play outside. I can definitely recommend this very convenient and stylish self-catering accommodation. Everything worked perfectly and the staff was friendly and helpful at all times!
