Super Lage, tolle Sicht vom Garten auf den Ort. Kleines Haus mit typischer Einrichtung, es war alles vorhanden. Sauber! Leider ein sehr unbequemes Bett und eine defekte Couch im Wohnraum. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett uns alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Great location, great view from the garden over the village. Small house with typical furnishings, everything was available. Clean! Unfortunately a very uncomfortable bed and a broken couch in the living room. The owners were very nice to us. All in all, we liked it very much.
This charming farmhouse is fabulously located about two miles from San Gimigano. It is quiet and has beautiful views out of every window. There are lovely grounds and tables to sit outside nightly and enjoy a bottle of wine with spectacular views of the town and vineyards. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. While charming, don't expect tv or wifi. This is for those who want to unplug and enjoy the beauty of Tuscany.
A beautiful quaint apartment in a lovely little hillside village. We were very happy with the location and the Villa it had everything we needed for self catering.
Very clean, nicely decorated rustical villa. The owner was very helpful and kind, cleaned the pool every day even though we didn't use it at all. Only the sofa would need some updating, but the kitchen is functional, outside area very nice. Lots of animals and free space which was great for the kids. The location is excellent - close to all the touristic sites but isolated from all the city noise.
Staying at the Villa Saladin felt like walking into a beautiful dream. From the moment Marco picked us up at the airport and drove us through the Tuscan countryside we felt at peace. Pulling up to the property through the olive and cypress trees felt like truly coming home. The grounds are lovely and quiet and the Beatrice Apartment was incredible. The 500 year old property has rich history (don't forget to ask Perla to give you the tour!) and every morning we awoke to the sounds of chattering birds outside our balcony. If you are a birder, be sure to bring your binoculars! Perla cooked us an amazing meal of rabbit with crispy potatoes and two types of bruschetta served with local wine. One of the best meals I had in all of Italy. The apartment had everything we needed--a mini fridge, a stove, laundry, and plenty of room for storage. The villa is a short walk to the enchanting village of Impruneta with sweet little shops and restaurants. We walked there each day and took the bus into Florence. (Not far, only a 20-30 minute ride.) I researched dozens and dozens of villas before settling on Saladini, and I am SO glad we chose this place!

We spent 6 nights here on our first vacation in Europe from Canada and the apartment served our needs completely. Easy Reserve, the rental agents, were very good to deal with, providing information ahead of time on buses from and to Florence and from Montecatini Terme to Montecatini Alto.
The location is magical. Montecatini Alto is a very old hilltop village, looking out over the Tuscan countryside. The Piazza has four restaurants, a small grocery/convenience store, and a wonderful gelato shop, as well as the usual souvenir shops. There is regular bus service to Montecatini Terme, public parking near the Piazza for cars, and to top it all, a funicular that runs every half hour until midnight (except for the usual mid-day lunch break) to get you down to Terme and back.
Everyone we met there was warm and friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
The apartment is well appointed, with modern appliances and updated finishes. We spent a lot of time on the balcony gazing at the vistas and listening to the church bells, the roosters crowing, and people below going about their lives. It was wonderful.
We rented a car to take day trips to Lucca, Viareggio and Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. The road to Alto is hilly and twisty but we got used to it right away and we could be in Terme within ten minutes.
The owner doesn’t speak English, and our Italian is even worse, but he was lovely to deal with and we managed with hand gestures, sketches and Google translate. Be sure to ask him about the art in the living room. He arranged for a taxi to take us all to the train station when we were leaving, and because the taxi could only take four of us, he drove one of us down himself.
If we get the opportunity to return, we would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend this apartment to others.
We were very happy with the villa. It was lovely and suited our needs.
Getting there was a little difficult because the roads are terrible, but the place itself is fine. The peace and quiet was wonderful.
