We spent a wonderful week at Case Sant'anna! The property is newly and beautifully restored and is comfortable and charming. We were a group of 18 and enjoyed cooking every evening and enjoying the pool, ping pong and side trips to Cortona and Arezzo by day. Great for all ages. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a week in early August 2017. We are a rather big family (6) but the unit was well-equiped and very spacious. The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The outdoor area was nice with a big swimming pool. We can only recommend the place - it is definitely value for money.

The ground floor apartments have their terrace attached, but the first floor appartments have to share a separate terrace at some distance. So be carefull to book a ground floor apartment is you want to enjoy outside eating.

I think the farmhouse is only 3 star even it has a pool. But we liked it there.
Our kids enjoyed the animals around - wild pigs came every night to eat figs. In the house's basement there were sleeping 8 bats. Nice experience.
There is a lot of moscitos, insects, vasps and hornets.

Perfect location - quiet and secluded in the countryside, but close to the motorway to explore Florence and other Italian cities. Lovely hosts, nice and clean cottage. Nice pool to cool down. Downside: Too many mosquitoes and the kitchen was very basic, lack of air con.

We had a perfect vacation here! The house was more than big enough for everybody, we stayed here with 6 adults en 5 children. Everything was very clean and shiny, aswell as the pool. You can see and feel that the owner takes great care for everything!! Every moring she cleaned the pool, watered the flowers, cleaned the bbq and brought us more wood for the bbq. She gives a great service to her "customers", more than you can expect, if you need something, all you have to do is ask!!

Whilst the villa is very beautiful and the pool lovely, I was immensely disappointed in the services available at Scerfio. To charge such a sum of money means that clients expect certain facilities.
i) We arrived on 5/9 in extreme temperatures. The villa had not been aired and was consequently extremely hot.
ii) there were no fans in the accommodation at all to help sleep. Brita, the very kind manager, lent us her personal fan the next day and we asked for three more, one for each bedroom. These did not arrive for a week.
iii) None of the mosquito nets were in good condition or shut properly.
iv) The standard of cleaning was not what one would expect for £4000+. The lavatory in the sitting room was dirty and all the loo brushes were absolutely filthy.
v) There were no complete sets of glasses or crockery.
vi) The cooking utensils were very basic and we had to ask for a kettle.
vii) A bic lighter was left out to light the cooker with which was hazardous.
viii) Two sun loungers were old and unusable.
ix) To leave no welcome pack of any sort is unacceptable for this class of villa. We had been to the supermarket prior to arriving. I would at least have expected there to be bottled water. There was nothing apart from 2 dishwasher tablets.
x) I was expecting the villa to be cleaned and the beds made at the end of the first week but sheets were simply left outside for us to change.
As a family, we had a good holiday but for the price I was certainly expecting the above to be covered. To have to spend the first week on the telephone chasing fans in extraordinarily high temperatures was a complete pain. My children were very supportive of me but there is no doubt that we felt very let down for all the above reasons. Ideally, I would like the owner to offer some form of compensation but judging from the way he dealt with us I know that is unlikely.
On the positive side, I was very impressed with the efficiency of Easy Reserve. I look forward to hearing your response to this email.
