Unterkunft hat die besten Jahre vor ca. 20 Jahren gehabt.
Sehr, sehr einfach und abgeranzt.
Müsste dringend renoviert werden!
Pool ist sehr groß - jedoch alles drum herum extrem runtergekommen.
Sauber und sehr ruhig, Betreuung vor Ort nett.
Würde es für den Preis nicht noch einmal buchen.

Very nice Villa in lovely little community, with beautiful views over the countryside. Pool was good with again great views. Good location for day trips to sienna and Florence
La parfaite maison de vacances, suffisamment isolée pour un séjour reposant, mais à seulement cinq minutes du centre ville. Charmante propriété à l'équipement très complet, propre, proposant de magnifiques salles de bains et une piscine fantastique. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les bouteilles de vin provenant des vignes du propriétaire offertes en cadeau d'accueil. Nous ne saurions recommander assez cette maison. Nous planifions déjà notre prochaine visite!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The perfect holiday home, secluded enough for a relaxing stay, but only five minutes from the city center. Charming property with very complete equipment, clean, offering beautiful bathrooms and a fantastic pool. We really enjoyed the bottles of wine from the owner's vineyard offered as a welcome gift. We can not recommend this house enough. We are already planning our next visit!
Dies war der 2.Urlaub in diesem Haus. Begeistert waren wir wieder von der Gastfreundlichkeit von Paolo und vor allen Dingen von Luigi. Trotz Sprachbarrieren war ein kleines nettes Gespräch immer an der Tagesordnung.
Die Wohnung ist einfach aber ausreichend ausgestattet. Ein Generalreinigung und Überprüfung der
Gebrauchsgegenstände wäre allerdings angezeigt.
Garten und Pool sind immer bestens gepflegt, was gerade bei max. Belegung sehr wertvoll ist.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] This was the 2nd holiday in this house. We were again delighted by the hospitality of Paolo and especially by Luigi. Despite language barriers, a little nice conversation was always on the agenda.
The apartment is simple but sufficiently equipped. . A general cleaning and inspection of the utensils would be indicated. Garden and pool are always well maintained, which is very valuable.
Wer es einsam, romantisch, idyllisch und gepflegt haben möchte, der ist an diesem Ort richtig. Man kann sich wunderbar erholen, sieht schöne Sonnenuntergänge und ist ganz für sich.
Das Haus wirkt sauber und großzügig, der Pool ist fantstasch, die Aussicht herrlich, es geht meist ein Lüftchen, so dass es auch im August wunderbar ist. Ameisen finden manchmal den Weg in die Küche, wenn man Essen liegen lässt, aber keine Mücken. Die Küche könnte entwas großzügiger ausgestattet werden: es fehlen leider Toaster, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, und die großen Teller passen nicht in den Geschirrspüler, aber auch der Backofen toastet und ein Topf lässt Wasser kochen....
Zweimal in der Woche kam eine Dame zum Saubermachen, samstags wurde die Bettwäsche gewechselt und der Pool gereinigt - herrlich!
Wir waren mit vier Kindern dort - es war perfekt.
Palaia ist ein niedlicher historischer Ort mit Restaurant, Supermarkt, Post und kleinen Lädchen.
Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dort wieder hinzufahren und kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] If you want to be lonely, romantic, idyllic and cared for, then this is the place for you. You can relax wonderfully, see beautiful sunsets and it is all to yourself.
The house is clean and spacious, the pool is fantastic, the view is wonderful, it is usually a breeze, so it is wonderful in August. Ants sometimes find their way to the kitchen when you leave food, but no mosquitoes. The kitchen could be designed more generous: unfortunately, a toaster, kettle and coffee maker are missing and the large plates do not fit into the dishwasher, but also the oven can toast and you can boil water in a pan.
Twice a week a lady came to clean, on Saturdays the sheets were changed and the pool cleaned - lovely!
We were there with four kids - it was perfect.
Palaia is a cute historic place with restaurant, supermarket, post office and small shops.
I can well imagine going there again and highly recommend the place.
The villa and service were great, at the place all was as described. Michaela and her husband and Luigi were very helpfull.
I will definitely recommend the place to my friends.
Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questo agriturismo a cavallo di ferragosto, quando le temperature erano intorno ai 40°, frequentata da tante famiglie straniere. Beh, che dire, ho trovato lo stesso clima che troverei in casa dei miei familiari. L'accoglienza, la disponibilità e la solarità dei titolari sono un corollario non trascurabile ad un contesto già eccezionale, immerso nelle colline toscane. Appartamento/casa ben curato/pulito e piacevolmente rifinito, con vista diretta sulla piscina e sul paesaggio. La piscina è il pezzo forte di questo agriturismo insieme al calcetto balilla ed al tavolo da ping pong, con alcuni piacevoli intermezzi pomeridiani da parte dei titolari (vedi foto). Grazie ad un area svago così ben strutturata non abbiamo avuto nessuna necessità di muoverci, se non alla sera per apprezzare le varie sagre della zona (ve le consiglio ottimo cibo a prezzo modico).
In somma se volete rilassarvi ed assaporare prodotti nostrani a prezzi d'occasione...... questo è il posto che fa per voi.
grazie, i miei bimbi e noi ci siamo divertiti talmente tanto da prolungarne la permanenza. Spero di ritornarci presto.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] I had the pleasure of staying at this farm in the middle of August when the temperatures were around 40 °C, frequented by so many foreign families. Well, what can I say, I found the same climate I would find in my family's home. The welcome and the availability of the owners are a corollary not negligible to an already exceptional setting, immersed in the Tuscan hills. Well maintained / clean and nice apartment with direct view of the pool and landscape. The pool is the highlight of this farmhouse, along with table football and table tennis, with some nice afternoon treats organized by the owners (see photo). Thanks to a well-structured entertainment area we did not have to go out, except in the evenings to appreciate the various festivals in the area (I recommend those, great food at a modest price).
If you want to relax and enjoy our own produce at special prices ...... this is the place for you.
Thank you, my kids and us enjoyed it so much we even extended our stay. I hope to return
