We spend a week in Casa Vago. The house is not new, but perfectly clean and wel equipped: good beds, kitchen, washing machine,... The house is close to shops, the railway station and the highway, which makes it a perfect place for discovering tuscany. We did a lot by train, very comfortable.
The house has nice views, a garden and gives acces to the Tuscany nature as well.
We LOVED this Villa ,it was everything we dreamed of ,the owner Gloria was a True Darling and really cared about us , Her Mum cooked us a FABULOUS dinner , they sourced anything we asked for ie: firewood and the joy of sharing their dogs and cats made it seem like home , whilst English was scarce we had a bond that transcended language , her hospitality was wonderful .The Villa is remote down a mountain tiny road we knew that and that was part of the appeal , we did have a little difficulty finding the property and I believe a sign up on the Highway and one actually in the front of the Villa should be considered .
We would go back again , as we had a Hire car a 9 seater we travelled and did day trips , the closest town is the most Beautiful Cortona with the Best Coffee , everywhere you turn you see a painting Truly a memorable country Tuscan stay . I would rate it a 10 /10
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und perfekt gelegen um die Stadt zu Fuss zu entdecken. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich und witzig. Es war eine tolle Unterkunft!!
Ottima location, l'ambiente perfetto, alloggio trovato riscaldato, pulito e come richiesto. Il personale gentile e preparato. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo. Soggiorno di Pasquale 2018.
Great place, very cosy and comfortable, excellent location, very kind and friendly owner. Two remarks: one, the TV didn't work during our stay (which didn't affect our stay, on the contrary), and two, the gas bill due to heating was a bad surprise. Anyway, highly recommended place, we'll come back.
L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la Toscane. Un vrai petit paradis au milieu de la campagne. Je recommande ce lieu.
Nous y retournerons.
De plus, les propriétaires parlent français et sont d'une grande disponibilité.
Vous pouvez aussi découvrir les vins, huile d'olive... de leur production.
