Casa Caldesi ist ein fantastisches Ferienhaus. Es ist herrlich in den Bergen gelegen, mit einer atemberaubenden Sicht auf die umliegenden Täler. Wanderungen oder nur chillen; alles ist möglich. Castiglion Fiorentino ist nicht weit; hier gibt es zahlreiche Lokale - von der Pizza bis zu traditionellen toskanischen Gerichten. Ausflüge in die umliegenden Städte, z.B . Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo, Cortona oder Orvieto sind kein Problem. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben uns mit allerlei Produkten aus dem heimischen Garten und Weinberg beschenkt. Das Ferienhaus ist eine klare Empfehlung. Wir können uns einen erneuten Aufenthalt gut vorstellen.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Casa Caldesi is a fantastic holiday home. It is beautifully situated in the mountains, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding valleys. Hiking or just chilling; everything is possible. Castiglion Fiorentino is not far; There are numerous restaurants - from pizza to traditional Tuscan dishes. Excursions to the surrounding cities, for example Montepulciano, Pienza, Arezzo, Cortona or Orvieto are no problem. The landlords are very nice and gave us with all sorts of products from their local garden and vineyard. The house is a clear recommendation. We can imagine a new stay very well.
Great place and a lovely atmosphere. Perfect location for day trips to historic sites and to all the beauty that Tuscany has to offer. We would love to come back.
A very big Villa with everything you need in it. The pool temperature was perfekt and the garden big enought. The Owners were really friendly and helpful all the time.
The tennis cort costs 40€ per day and its only woth if you do play often.
Great location and value for money. The 2 person villa was a bit outdaded and had some bugs and other little creatures. Only thing: the property was not that clean
Loved our stay! Elaina and Mario were superb hosts. Property is beautiful. Although a little hard to find in the beginning, the gps information was very helpful.
Spectacular setting , lovely house . Some plumbing issues and one bedroom without air conditioning and very old mattresses .
Easy Rental was a delight to deal with , A+ rental company . The parking sharing was not ideal and should be looked into. The owner is very friendly and accessible . We would love to rent it again if some issues addressed are fixed .
Grazie mille for a wonderful booking experience. Torre Del Cielo exceeded all of our high expectations for our vacation in Monterchi. Our family of 8 enjoyed everything about this property including the comfortable accommodations, outdoor seating area, pool—and the beautiful views from the tower terrace and pool area. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to prepare several meals easily. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill and dining area as well. It was very convenient to have en-suite bathrooms for each of the bedrooms.
The location of Torre is perfectly situated for touring. Monterchi is a wonderful town and we enjoyed shopping at Marcello’s Supermercato, eating porchetta sandwiches at the Sunday outdoor market, and listening to live music during the summer music festival. We took full advantage of visiting a good number of the nearby towns within an hour’s drive of the villa including Cortona, Castiglion Fiorentino, Sansepolcro, Arezzo, and many more. We also couldn’t be happier with the warm welcome provided by Rosado and his family. Not only is the villa kept in beautiful condition, but he is ready to provide great suggestions for visits and dining options (Al Travato was one of our favorites). Two of our favorite excursions were led by Rosado to the monasteries at Eremo di Montecasale and La Verna. He also arranged a delicious wine tasting for us in Montepulciano.
My parents, who were traveling with us, had stayed at the Palazzo Rosadi about 10 years prior to this visit and loved their return trip. I hope that we can visit this amazing place again soon.
We would highly recommend the Casa Cipressi, it’s in a beautiful remote setting with lovely views from the entrance over the Tuscan countryside, vineyards and olive groves. We loved spotting deer in the hillside, although vineyard owners aren’t so enthusiastic, as deer nibble and damage the vines!
The large garden is a delight, and lovely to explore, it has a little pond with very noisy frogs which leap into the water when they spot you coming! The pool is well maintained with sun loungers available. There is a nice shady dining area outside the villa where we ate all our meals.
The interior of the villa is rustic but very comfortable. There are fans in all the bedrooms which was essential when temperatures crept up to 40C in June!
The villa is situated in a good position for sightseeing. Make sure to take the train from Certaldo to Firenze as it takes you to the centre of the city. We also enjoyed San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and Certaldo Alto among others nearby.
Lovely place for a relaxing holiday, you won’t be disappointed!
Das Haus ist wunderschön. Und da wir mit Eltern und Schwiegereltern unterwegs waren auch super ideal , da jedes Schlafzimmer über ein eigenes Bad verfügt.
Die Lage am leichten Hügel und somit der Blick über ein nächtlich beleuchtetes Florenz ist atemberaubend.
Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt sind die Angeben der Wegstrecken ( also ohne Auto kommt man nirgends hin), auch ein zwei für Induktion geeignete Töpfe in de Küche wären nicht schlecht.
Aber alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und wenn wir wiedermal in die Gegend kommen sicher einen weiteren Aufenthalt wert.
(English translation - The house is beautiful. And since we were with parents and in-laws it was also great that each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The location on the hill and thus the view over a nocturnal illuminated Florence is breathtaking.
The only small minus point is the indication of the distances (you can not get anywhere without a car), also a couple of suitable pans for induction in the kitchen would not be bad.
But all in all it was a great holiday and if we come back in the area, certainly worth a stay.)
Es war unserer dritter Aufenthalt bei orietta und ihrem Mann . Es war wie immer wunderbar . Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder .
