Hôtes plus que chaleureux. Avons passé un séjour extraordinaire. Nous avons soupé avec d’autres résidents de la Villa et ce préparer par nos hôtes, Stefano et Marco. La vue que nous avions montrait toute les beautés de la Toscane.
What a wonderful stay. We were looking for an authentic Tucson villa to stay for three weeks and this was the perfect place. We enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with the only sound was doves, pheasants, dogs and tractors working the fields. It was so relaxing. The weather was so nice that we were able to use the pool and just sit by it and relax. There are four apartments each with a small kitchen but one of the apt. has a larger fridge and a larger table to sit more people. It was centrally located so it became our eating place. We spent most of our time when we were their out side under the pergola drinking wine and reading. We used their bar-b-que a few time which was great. Lots of stairs everywhere so something to think about.
We loved our stay In Poggibonsi at this lovely villa. Anetta’s Breakfasts were a wonderful way to start the day. This would have received a 5 star if Poggibonsi was a little nicer town. It was a perfect location to visit many of the Tuscan cities and had a beautiful views.

Wir waren für 12 Tage zu viert Ende September in dem sehr schönen, geräumigen Haus. Der Garten mit seinem
großen Pool ist traumhaft, der Ausblick ist fantastisch!
Die Ausstattung ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen (Herd, hier war eine der vier Kochplatten defekt; ein Wasserkocher fehlte;
die Kaffeemaschine kaum brauchbar; am zweiten Kühlschrank –nur für Getränke vorgesehen- schloss die Tür nicht komplett;
Sanitär z.B. die Duschköpfe…) und könnte in einigen Bereichen mal erneuert oder repariert werden.
In 2,5km Entfernung (Richtung Siena) kann man im Hofladen hervorragenden Rotwein und Olivenöl aus Eigenanbau ohne "Touristenzuschlag" erwerben und im 900m entfernten Palazzuolo ist das Ristorante La Scuderia sehr zu empfehlen, es wartet mit einem exzellenten Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis und sehr freundlichem Service auf.
Fazit: ein wunderschöner Ort der Entspannung mit traumhafter Landschaft und unbedingt empfehlenswert!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We stayed for 12 days at the end of September in the very beautiful, spacious house. The garden with the large pool is gorgeous, the view is fantastic!
The equipment is partly a bit getting old (stove, here was one of the four hotplates broken, a kettle was missing;
the coffee machine hardly usable; on the second fridge - intended only for drinks - the door did not close completely;
Sanitary e.g. the shower heads ...) and could be renewed or repaired in some areas.
2.5 km away (direction Siena) you can buy excellent red wine and olive oil from thefarm without "tourist surcharge" in the farm shop and in Palazzuolo, 900m away, the Ristorante La Scuderia is highly recommended, with excellent value for money and very friendly service.
Conclusion: a beautiful place of relaxation with beautiful scenery and definitely recommended!
We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Irene's villa. We cannot Express how amazing both Irene and the Villa were. The villa is excellently fitted out with every home comfort whilst retaining its authentic Tuscan feel.
The villagers are friendly and welcoming and the shop and restaurant staff all speak quite good English.
Irene, our host, is nothing short of phenomenal. She ensures every comfort is met and checks up on you daily without being intrusive. She provides excellent advice around things to see and do around Tuscany. In short Irene makes your holiday easy and simply incredible.
Loved staying at Villa Fabbroni! At first sight and the drive, was not sure, but after getting to know Stefano (the owner) and taking the drive more than once, we really enjoyed our stay! The best part is the interaction with Stefano, he will cook for you, give you a cooking class, let you help with harvest, all so much fun! He is a great cook!! Villa Fabbroni is a very good location to visit all the small quaint towns of Tuscany. You will love his mascot Lucio!
We spent a relaxing and peaceful two weeks at the end of the season at San Lorenzo. Cristiano, so kindly came out late at night to check us into the villa when we got lost finding the correct access track from the main road, as the sign is there but very small: keep your eyes peeled ! The continuous pool recirculating pump runs continuously so consumes a lot of electricity. The villa is a model of old fashioned Tuscan living although there are dishwasher, washing machine, extravagantly luxurious shower, microwave and wifi repeater hidden carefully to satisfy modern living cravings. The thick walls and small windows keep out the cold and baking sun very effectively. The view down the hill to the distant hills from both the patio table and even from the master bed through the small picture window are spectacular and transfixing as the weather changes.
