Descriptif de la Propriété

Six grands appartements totalement indépendants (entrée directe de l’extérieur), situés dans une belle et grande ferme. La ferme et la grange (distante 25m), ont restructurées avec soins et divisées en 6 appartements.
Position dominante, panoramique et tranquille, même si une petite route secondaire de campagne borde la propriété. Belle vue sur la campagne et les vignobles de Vernaccia, fameux vin blanc de la région et de Chianti. Vaste jardin (15000m2) clôturé et bien entretenu (pré) avec grande piscine d’où l’on joint d’une magnifique vue sur la cité de San Gimignano à l’horizon. Chaque appartement dispose d’un “double” (devant et derrière) espace extérieur privé (gravier et pré) avec table et chaises. Ameublement neuf de style rustique. Ventilateurs au plafond dans toutes les pièces, moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres et sèche-cheveux dans chaque appartement.
Distances: magasins alimentaires, bar, restaurant 4km, Certaldo avec magasins variés et tennis 6km, San Gimignano 6km, la cité étrusque de Volterra 40km, Radda in Chianti 42km, Sienne 50km, Florence 60km, Pise 80km, Marina di Cecina (plages) 90km, Rome 305km.
A disposition des hôtes (et en commun avec tous les appartements): jardin clôturé et bien entretenu de pré (15.000m2) avec piscine (7m x 14m; prof.: 1,40m; ouverte du 15/04 au 04/11) et douche extérieure (eau froide). Jeux pour enfants, barbecue, 6 bicyclettes pour adultes et une pour enfants. Buanderie (lave-linge, fer et planche à repasser) et réception au rez-de-chaussée inférieur de la dépendance (grange). Connexion Internet Wi-Fi (usage gratuit) devant la réception.

Accomodation was excellent overlooking San G. The hosts very responsive and helpful. Comfortable beds, showers, safe & secure. Very clean. Awesome swimming pool. Only feedback is the signage at the front of the property could be improved to help guests find when first arriving. Overall very happy and would return.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Massi A. the only drawback that we encountered was that our host did not speak any English, we did communicate with her, but it would of been easier if there was an English speaking person around to ask questions too. the Wi-Fi connection was spotty... The views were awesome and we did have awonderful time

There were 5 adults staying in Massi b which has 5 bedrooms ensuite.. Overall we had great time .The property has very good views of the surrounding vineyards and olive trees. There are some aspects that could be improved in the villa. The ceiling fans in all but 1 bedroom worked on such a low speed it had no effect. As it was summer and hot it made sleeping very uncomfortable. The kitchen needs improvement as follows. A 2 slice toaster is inadequate for villa that can accommodates 10 adults. All knives need replacing as they were so blunt you could not cut a tomato. Garbage bags should be provided as when you travel all the way from Australia the last thing you expect to have to buy is garbage bags.This includes dishwashing tablets. In addition the villas garbage disposal facility should be on the property. You have to take this out yourself to bins on the main road. That was annoying.
Noise does carry between the villas ( they are semi detach ed) and we had a lot of children on each side and could hear the resultant noise. No english is spoken by Barbara which makes communication difficult. As the property is surrounded by working vineyards we had tractor noise from sunup to sunset. Sometimes it felt as if the tractor was right outside the door. We did not expect this and it certainly did spoil the days when we were relaxing in the villa and pool. They attended the gardens including mowing the whole property at approx 5 pm when they should do this early in the morning before guests lie at the pool and relax. The sun only goes down at about 9 pm. Having said all this we still had a good time and visited all the surrounding areas. There is a lot to do and enjoy.

Fabulous location next to the very amazing medieval town of San Gimignano. Property was immaculately presented, with great swimming pool and entertainment for children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property as a top place to stay.

This villa was absolutely ideally situated, about three kilometres from San Gimignano and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Picture perfect views. We had it all to ourselves for most of the stay which was even better as the pool and grounds were lovely.

We stayed in massi from 31th of july till 14th of august . I must say we where pleased when we arrived at the property . The property was verry clean , the gardens arround the complex where excellent and the landlord(ess) was verry friendly and helpfull. We can recommend the house for everybody who wants to enjoy the surrounding views ( wich was great, the city of San gimignano at the hillside).
You are nearby the big places if you want to explore Tuscany.
The housewine is deliscious .
The pool is verry nice , wich is well maintained ( this includes the garden)

Fantastic location with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Apartments were excellent, much better than 3 star rating. Pool area kept clean and tidied daily. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.

What a stunning place to stay!! We booked both Massi 1 & 2 (14 Adults 4 Children) to use as a base for our wedding in Certaldo Alto. Massi sits on top of a hill between San Gimignano and Certaldo, about 3 miles away from both and surrounded by grape and olive fields with beautiful views all around. If you want to experience typical Tuscan countryside then this is the place to come!
