Really quiet location, yet not too far from town. We walked to town to eat out most evenings, although the climb up the hill is steep and would be a challenge for anyone with fitness issues. The location was fantastic, very secluded but only a few minutes walk (albeit up a steep hill)to town. The villas themselves were very clean and practical, and were extremely conmfortable. The views were amazing. Without a doubt the highlight were Hugo and Lucia, who take care of the property and live there. They were wonderfuly hospitable and made us feel most welcome. Very convenient to the village of San Gimignano (walking or driving) and yet very quiet and peaceful. Roberta speaks good English to help with your questions and Mama & Papa are quite dedicated to you enjoying yourself , even if though they do't speak English. Both units were clean and comfortable.
