Descriptif de la Propriété

Ancien cascinale toscan, adjacent à la villa padronale, restauré dans le plein respect du style du dix-neuvième siècle rural.
Il s'agit de 70 mq disposés sur deux plans. Places lu 4+2. Au plan terrain entrée, séjour et cuisine/tinello. Au plan supérieur 2 chambres et la salle de baigne. L'habitation dispose de laverie avec machine à laver et ferre de repasse.
Le tinello est complètement composé de meubles et ornes des originaux de fin '800. La table, avec le plan de marbre de Carrara, est très confortable pour 6 personnes.
Le séjour est meublé avec un confortable divano/lit matrimonial et avec des meubles en bois massello en style.
Un vieux scurolo restauré reçoit deux belles scènes champêtres.
La cuisine est complète de four, de réfrigérateur et congelatore. Détail soigne a été poste dans la récupération d'outils de cuisine et de travail originaux de ceci cascinale.

La cuisine en bois massello est impreziosita de l'inserimento d'un évier en pierre sereine soutenu de murets de vieilles briques récupérées de restaure du local, ainsi comme elle était coutume dans les anciennes cuisines paysans toscans.

En 15 minutes d'auto ils se rejoignent:
Lucque (les mure, les églises, les magnifiques villas lucchesi); Montecatini Terme (terme, golf, tennis);
Collodi où il est situé la Parque de Pinocchio et Villa Garzoni.

En 35 minutes ils se rejoignent:
Florence, avec ses inegualiabili beautés artistiques, patrimoine Unesco;
Viareggio et la Versilia avec leurs très belles spiagge de sable fin, connu partout;
Pise avec sa célèbre Tour et Place des Miracles, patrimoine Unesco, ses lungarni;
Livourne avec le port.
En 50 minutes se rejoignent:
Carrara avec ses carrières de marbre;

Environ 1 heuer d'auto:
la Garfagnana, riche de traditions culturelles, gastronomiche, et du paysage uniques dans leur genre;
Abetone, caractéristique stazione sciistica de l'Appennino;
Volterra, célèbre pour les albâtres et pour les musées de la civilisation étrusque et de San Gimignano.

casa eccellente bellissimo...è andata anche afortuna perche un a cosa che proprio non mi convince è il fatto che solo dopo pagamento tra l altro l intero importo, non si puo parlare con il prpprietario se non che tramite agenzia..infatti quando sono riuscita aparlare con il proprietario alcune cose non erano stte chiarite e precisate come avrei voluto..ma ci siamo comunque arrangiati e la cosa si è sistemata per il meglio..

The property is a very nice separate house with one big living room + kitchen on the ground floor, and two spacious bedrooms + bathroom at the first floor. Equipped with TV, hair dryer, heating, ..., so basically a fully equipped accomodation.
The owner is a very kind person, has a lot of information about Tuscany.
The location is also very good - halfway between Florence and Pisa, close to the highway.

When we planned our trip in Tuscany, we were looking for a typical Tuscan Villa to stay at for a week and Rio Corso filled all our expection and then some. It is in a very quiet area, with a few km of Altopascio, where you can get everything you need including restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rio Corso to all my friends.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rio Corso. We had some difficulty finding the property, but once we figured out how we went wrong it was easy. The property was everything we expected and the owner and his son were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Villa was well designed, clean, modern and attractive. Would highly recommend this property.

The property is basic, but clean, safe, comfortable and brilliantly placed to explore Northern Tuscany, by train and by car. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and would strongly recommend it.

Very attractive apartment in a centrally located site near the train line between Lucca & Firenze. It was a little hard to locate. Very Clean & newly remodeled. We hope to return somtime.

The villa was more spacious than the photos portrayed it. The family who owned it was friendly and very accomodating. The villa and grounds were immaculate. I really appreciated use of washer with handy clothes rack dryer with clothes pins. The kitchen was new and most sufficient for 4 or 6 people. The location was great for exploring Pisa, Firenze, Lucca and surrounding Tuscany. The nearest town was Altopascio, there was all types of stores and services for your convenience. Most of all! The house was very safe, it is located in a community of lovely homes all gated with intercoms. Our villa had its own driveway with an electric gate that locked every time you entered or departed, you can sleep knowing it would be very difficult for an intruder to enter. That was a worry for me renting in an unknown place. I would definately return to this villa if I ever needed to be in that location again providing it was not summertime. We did not do well without air conditioning. I guess we are spoiled Americans. It was extremely hot and I thought I would do more cooking, but did not because of the heat. There was not access to a pool either so there was little relief from the heat. But if I returned for Fall or Winter or even Spring the house is great !

The property was wonderful, the owner most helpful, but we thought that the place was in a more rural setting when in fact it was in suburbia. This didn't make for an unpleasant stay, just not what we were really looking for. If that is what friends were after then most certainly we would recommend Rio Corso. The property is conveniently located to the main cities of Pisa, Lucca, Lerici and the Cinque Terra. We found the small mountain-top towns of Monte Carlo and Monte Cartini real treasures.

Great clean Villa in fantastic location for exploring Tuscanny by car. Staircase upstairs a little steep, if thats not an issue for you it's a great place. Would definetly go back for a summer visit. Couldn't of been a better location for us. Quite a few local restaurents of excellent quality minutes away in local village and very convenient to Autostrada.
