When we planned our trip in Tuscany, we were looking for a typical Tuscan Villa to stay at for a week and Rio Corso filled all our expection and then some. It is in a very quiet area, with a few km of Altopascio, where you can get everything you need including restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rio Corso to all my friends.

This was a lovely setting for a Tuscany holiday. The villa was attractive and clean and fully equipped. The views over San Gimignano were spectacular. Marco and Sylvia were very welcoming and always willing to provide advice and assitance. Access to the vegetable garden for tomatoes and basil and leeks and more helped produce some great cheap meals. The location was very good as a base for visiting all the famous towns and cities in Tuscany.

A magical place .. I celebrated my 60th with some friends and it was perfect - I even became quite attached to the narrow winding drive up the mountain from San Polo. Villa Fabbroni is delightedly different .. overlooks mountains and forests although just a little down the track are those Tuscan views one imagines .. olive groves, vineyards and dotted villas here and there. Other guests had children who loved the horses, chickens and rustic atmosphere. Stefano and Sergio make you very welcome, are helpful and are one of the special things about Fabbroni .. we ate their olive oil, and honey and drank their wine .. and ejoyed their sumptuious cooking. Of course a car is necessary in Tuscany and many Tuscan villages are within a day's visit after which a relax by the pool is very welcome!..the furnishings are rustic/provincial, comfortable, clean and well appointed.... we did not want to leave! The Villa, it's views and the area were stunning. The villa is up a 2 km untarmaced road so you should be careful if you have a sports car, but there is the advantage of privacy and peaceful surroundings.The hosts could not have done more to make our stay very memorable. We were a family including a 22month old.

We, merried couple, spent a wonderful time at the Massi place. Everything was superb: great appartment, great position on top of a slope, great neighbourhood. Mrs Barbara Massi is a perfect hostess, proud of her property. In short, an absolute must!

I don't know where to start with the review. So many wonderful things to say about Casa Di Vignolo! First and foremost is the wonderful hosts Francesco and Marina. Francesco met us on arrival and showed us around the beautiful villa and the town of Pergine Valdarno. Everything you would expect of a Tuscan country town! The villa was a great central location for exploring Florence, Sienna and the wine country. Sienna is a must! You will need to rent cars for day trips, but the driving is generally pretty easy.
The highlight of our stay was the cooking class with Marina. What a perfect day! A few of us helped in the kitchen while others chose to laze around the beautiful pool and yard. The meal Marina prepared was the best of our whole vacation, and Marina is one of the loveliest, most gracious, women I have ever met. Her son Julio is a hoot!
We rented both villas, Casa di Vignolo, and La Miccia, and this accommodated 10 of us perfectly. It was a combination of old world charm with full, comfortable amenities. We shared a courtyard with other villas - became friends with our neighbours, and enjoyed playing with all the local cats! The village had everything we required - just a 10 second walk and you have delicious italian espresso first thing in the morning, as well as groceries, bakery, flowershop, bar, and newspaper store. We travelled all through Italy, and the local restaurant in Pergine Valdarno had the best food of all that we had tried (except Marina's of course!) and it was under a minute walk from the villa.
I cannot say enough about this wonderful villa! Staying there was the highlight of our whole vacation! Thank you Francesco and Marina!

One last note, I highly recommend booking through Easyreserve. They answered any questions we had, payment was easy, booking was easy. We had trouble with other accomodations we had booked through Italy, but Easyreserve was a blessing!

Francesca and her family were wonderful! The farm was beautiful and the apartment was EXACTLY how we wanted it to be. We would recommend this property to anyone that wats to stay in the Tuscany region.

Lavacchio is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany and the villa is wonderful. The views of the countryside are spectacular from every part of the property, the rooms are all comfortable and well appointed with furnishings. This property is a beautiful place to spend your vacation in Tuscany. We will definitely return for many more vacations at this very special villa.

Wir freuten uns sehr auf unsere Waoche in La Madonnina und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die steile Anfahrtstrasse meisterten wir problemlos und fanden trotz der Tafel "Fahrverbot" die schmale Strasse zu unserem Ziel. Dort wartete schon Morena und hiess uns willkommen. Das Haus ist grosszügig, sauber und gut eingerichtet. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 3 kleine Kinder und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Brouno sorgte jeden Morgen dafür, dass keine Blätter im Pool waren und war auch sonst für uns da. Auch die Distanz zum Meer ist akzeptabel und wir genossen es. Ein Haus zum Empfehlen!

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We were looking forward to our week at La Madonnina and were not disappointed. We overcame with no problems the steep access road and found the narrow road to our destination despite the panel "no entry". Morena was already waiting for us and welcomed us. The house is spacious, clean and well furnished. We were 6 adults and 3 small children and felt very comfortable. Bruno took care every morning that no leaves were in the pool and was always at our disposal. Also the distance to the sea is acceptable and we enjoyed it. A house to recommend!
