Excellent 5 /5Our stay at Casa di Vignolo was the stuff of dreams! The villa itself was perfect - spacious but cozy, a kitchen with lots of character but with all the modern amenities, and a front porch perfect for reading or relaxing. And the village? Quaint, beautiful, authentic are words that barely do it justice. The shops have most of what you need to make your vacation perfect, coffee, flowers, wine, groceries, baked goods, and the shop owners and our neighbors were all so friendly and accommodating.
And the location... we were easily able to make day trips to Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, and Volterra (not to be missed), among others. Our only regret is that we only had a week's vacation and so not enough time to spend just hanging out for the day at "our home".
