Das Haus war wunderschön. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern liess etwas zu wünschen übrig. Das Geschirr wurde von der Geschirrspülmaschine nicht sauer geputzt - selbst nach 3 intensiven Spülgängen - und der Billardtisch war nicht benutzbar, da der Filz auf dem Tisch Löcher aufweiste. Die Nähe zu Florenz, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants wurde wiederum sehr geschätzt.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The house was beautiful. The cleanliness in the rooms left something to be desired. The dishes were not cleaned by the dishwasher - even after 3 intensive rinses - and the pool table was not usable, holes in the felt. The proximity to Florence, shopping and restaurants in turn was much appreciated.

Very pretty place in the middle of Olive trees. Close to beautiful towns Sienna, Montepulciano.

Beautiful villa, wonderful location and attentive hosts. We were met by Luca on the road to guide us in which was very helpful. He was available to sort any issues if needed and easy to contact. The villa was in a secure gated area amongst the olive groves which was lovely.

The pool was lovely and cleaned regularly. There was a fence around the pool which gave peace of mind as we had our 2 year old with us. The pool was not heated but this was not an issue as the weather was fabulous. The access gate to the pool did have quite a large gap underneath it that a determined toddler could definitely crawl under and may be worth adjusting in the future.

There are a few extra costs which are stated on the website including paying for electricity, it would be helpful to know on this that the first €100 are free.

A few suggestions would be:
1. The top floor single bedroom has a ‘daybed’ only not a proper bed, meaning no proper mattress, we ended up using the mattress from the top of the bunk bed in order to make this bed comfortable. This should be changed to a proper bed really.
2. The stairs to the bottom level had no bannister which should probably be considered.
3. The wooden fence into the pool should be lowered to prevent children crawling under.

We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider returning in the future.

The Villa is an excellent base for visiting Tuscany. Only 15 minutes to a train station, which we used to a day trip to Florence. Lucia was a wonderful hostess, she purchased breakfast items and toiletries for us before we arrived. Extremely clean and comfortable. We also had a dinner prepared for us one evening, which I highly recommend.
