This villa was a dream come true. We rented this villa on Nov 6 thru Nov 13. We were met promptly by the owner, given a step by step guide to the villa as far as how to operate everything. The pricing was as listed. The cost of heat and cleaning was reasonable based upon our usage. The villa was spotless clean, the patio view was beyond breath taking. The beds were comfortable, the shower was spacious and clean. The kitchen was useful and suitable for everyday life and cooking. The remoteness of the location was very romantic. The only drawback I found was the lack of english on the tele as after dark much of the San Gimignano town shut down and we were left with little options to do. Internet would be a wonderful upgrade if possible so tele can be watched via ipad.

Other than that...we will be back...eventually :)

THIS WAS THE NICEST PART OF OUR TRIP IN ITALY.HAVING A COMFORTABLE,WELL-EQUIPPED PLACE TO CALL"HOME" WAS GREAT AFTER QUICK STOPOVERS EN ROUTE.
THE STAFF WAS WELCOMING AND HELPFUL. WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN.

What a wonderful villa to stay at. We enjoyed the area and could not have asked for better hosts. Gabriel and Lucia we fantastic. Nothing was a bother. Would recommend to any of our fellow australians.

We were 9 adults with North American standards and Barbara at Podere Lo Spadino meet and exceed all our expectations. What a place to stay and hard to leave behind. Beautiful villa with spectacular views. We will return

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment in Palaia for eight days in September. It was everything it is advertised to be, and more.

Our hosts Enrico and Donatella were lovely, and met us with a warm welcome even when we arrived early, with a beautiful apple cake and ingredients for dinner the first night, along with instructions, keys and a tour of the apartment. The wifi modem had a bit of a problem and Enrico was over immediately to provide an alternate modem for us to use wifi while we were in Palaia.

It is an easy drive to San Gimignano, Volterra, and the train station in Pontedera for a day trip to Florence. We had a great walk to Montofoscoli one day, and were fortunate to be in Palaia for the Medieval Festival in late September.

Comfy and roomy apartment, decorated and furnished in true Italian style with everything we needed for cooking and laundry and relaxing during our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone, as long as you have a car to explore.
