We loved the place. The mobile home was compact but very well planned and had everything from hot water to a small kitchenette. The view was beautiful. The supermarket was handy though expensive. It was worthwhile to go to Pistoia station supermarket. The location was excellent and we drove to Viaregio and Montecatini and enjoyed the hot springs there. Our children loved the pool, playground and horse riding.
We would love to return back next year.

This was a 3 week family vacation for my wife and me, 4 children and spouses. The location, quality of the villa, and the warmth and hospitality of the Rosadi family made it especially enjoyable. I agree wholeheartedly with the other comments posted, and will emphasize the personal attention we received from Mr. Rosadi. His availability and knowledge of the area and its history added depth to our experience, and gave us confidence that we would be well taken care of in whatever circumstances should arise. His tour of the valley was very instructive, and brought us to places we would not otherwise have found.
The views from the villa and surrounding areas are magnificent and pastoral at the same time. The eye doesn't know where to look first.
This is truly a place to come to be renewed, to refresh relationships between family and friends, and enjoy the art, history hospitality and beauty that is Italy.
Do get acquainted with the proprietors of the local restaurants and the good people at the local grocery.
If you come, stay a while. The 3 weeks we had allowed our getting into the rhythm of Tuscany, and served to renew our spirits.
We will be back.

Villa Fabbri was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of room, beatiful furnishings, well provisioned kitchen, bathrooms had good water pressure. The pool and sun deck were used every day. But the views were the best thing of all. So gorgeous and lush--panoramic over the valley.Plus Patrick Spencer provided invaluable guidance and advice for what to see , how to best get around, where and what to eat. With Patrick, we saw local life in Tuscany and met local people which added an authentic dimension to our trip.
It was the trip of a lifetime and it was wonderful

Irene and her brother, Eduardo, were extraordinary hosts. They were gracious,extremely attentive to our comfort, and made our week at Il Doccio memorable. We were there on our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family. We were 20 in all, and they made the occasion joyous beyond our expectations. Our hosts, Il Doccio and the Tuscan countryside will bring us back. The house/villa was rustic, but comfortable. To a person, every one one of the 20 of us want to come back to Il Doccio and see Irene and Eduardo again.

in aller kürze: das anwesen ist schlicht sensationell. exzellente ausstattung, wunderschöner garten, extrem großzügige räume und ein panorama zum niederknien. hinzu kommt, dass mit dem eigner/verwalter roberto ein mann am start ist, der nicht nur unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit ist, sondern auch restaurant- und ausflugstipps bereit hält, die weit jenseits der konvention liegen. superdicker daumen. für alles. konsens der 12-köpfigen gruppe: one of the places best we've ever seen.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] To put it shortly: the property is simply sensational. Excellent equipment, beautiful garden, very spacious rooms and a panorama to kneel down for. Add the owner Roberto, not only incredibly nice and helpful, but also making recommandations for good local restaurants and trips, many inside tips. Super thumbs up. Everybody in our 12-member group agrees: one of the best places we've ever seen.
