We really loved this place. Such a lovely setting and really relaxing. The apartment suited us well (group of 4 women). Early fall was a perfect time to visit, warm enough to swim, but not too hot. The nearby town of San Gimiginano is lovely. The wine and olive tasting were a really nice extra.

We were a group of 8 and rented the Villa for a week. The castle exceeded our expectations and provided a setting that was breathtakingly beautiful. The castle offered a spacious environment, inside and out. Old and rustic, but clean and beautiful, filled with much history. The sleeping accommodations were comfortable for our group. The kitchen was conducive in us hiring a personal chef to prepare several meals for us as well as preparing a few meals on our own. The staff was incredible, they went out of their way to ensure that we were enjoying our stay each and every day. Someone was at our disposal at all times and they were quick with responses to questions or issues that needed to be addressed. We had a medical emergency and the staff was at our door immediately! The staff offered a welcome lunch and breakfast that was beyond delicious and quite expansive. The castle offered their own wine tour and tasting. We have never experienced a vacation like this and look forward to returning in the very near future. Truly relaxing and wonderful!

We stayed at La Fenice in September 2019 for a week.
The villa is absolutely beautiful and located in an outstanding, peaceful setting nestled into the Tuscan hills.
The owner, Gabriele, could not have been more helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay.
An absolute pleasure to stay there and would definitely visit again if the oppotunity arose.
