We thoroughly enjoyed our 15-day stay at Podere San Giuseppe. The location was beautiful, and the views were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and housekeeping checked in every three or four days to offer fresh towels and a change of sheets. We also appreciated having access to a washing machine, which we used once. The manager was easy to contact and responded quickly when we had questions through What’s App. We stayed in the SIENNA unit, and there are three details we feel should be clearer in the listing. First, it is an upstairs unit. This was fine for the four of us, but it could be a concern for guests with mobility limitations. I believe there are also four ground-floor units available. Second, the unit has no indoor living area with a sofa or comfortable chairs for relaxing. The small kitchen has a table and four chairs, but it felt a little crowded. While it met our needs for meals, we missed having a comfortable place to sit indoors when we weren’t outside. Third, the first few days were warm and we wanted to use the AC the first night we arrived, which was a Sunday after 10pm we were not able to get one to work and we couldn’t figure out why. We were pleasantly surprised to get a response at such a late hour from Sefora that in each bedroom where there is an AC unit, the window must be completely closed and locked. Maybe they can add a small a sign next to the wall remote control so other guests would know what to do for the AC to come on duirig the hotter months Overall, we had a wonderful stay, but knowing these details beforehand would help guests choose the unit that best suits their needs.

Volle Punktzahl für diese liebevolle Location, in der es uns an nichts fehlte, die hervorragende Vorbereitung und Betreuung durch die Agentur, und und die unheimlich netten Vermieter vor Ort, die sich sehr liebevoll, aber zurückhaltend, um Ihr Anwesen kümmern. Linda nous a réservé un accueil plus que chaleureux lors de notre arrivée avec la visite pour la découverte de leur magnifique résidence. Un véritable petit paradis où les aménagements pour notre bien-être ne manquent pas. Durant notre séjour d'une semaine Linda a toujours été présente et attentive à nos besoins, savoir si nous allions bien, si elle pouvait nous conseiller pour des visites. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de cette semaine tant nous avons été choyés. Et si l'avenir le veut bien à l'occasion d'une futur escapade en Toscane c'est chez Linda que nous retournerons sans hésiter. Ce sera des retrouvailles qui feront chaud au cœur.

Villa Morellino – Beautiful Setting with Room for Improvement We recently stayed at Villa Morellino with a group of 10 friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring Tuscany. The villa's location is absolutely stunning, with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. The property itself is spacious, and the swimming pool was a wonderful feature that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were five couples and each enjoyed a spacious bedroom with ensuite That said, there were several areas where we felt the experience could have been improved, particularly for a property designed to accommodate a larger group. Comfort and living spaces: Although the villa offers plenty of space, the main living room seating was not particularly comfortable or well suited to a group of 10. There was also a downstairs living area that we ultimately did not use because of the lack of comfortable seating and a noticeable musty smell. It was unfortunate to have that additional space available but not inviting enough to enjoy. Kitchen and basic amenities: The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware, which we appreciated. However, a few practical items would have made a significant difference, including rubber spatulas, a pizza cutter, basic spices and dish soap. There was also only one tea towel provided. Having a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels to cover the first day or two would have been a thoughtful touch, particularly for guests arriving after a day of travel. Outdoor amenities: The pool and surrounding views were definite highlights. However, providing beach or pool towels and cushions for the outdoor pool seating would have made the experience more comfortable. We were also disappointed to discover that the advertised hot tub was actually a separate section of the swimming pool with jets, rather than a true hot tub. Access to the property: One thing we wish we had known in advance was the condition of the entrance road. It was extremely uneven, washed out in several areas and quite bumpy to navigate. A heads-up before arrival would have been appreciated. Communication and guest services: Ana, the on-site manager, was lovely to deal with and very responsive whenever we needed assistance. Although we relied on Google Translate to communicate, she was always helpful, and we appreciated her efforts. Communication from the property management company, however, was more limited than we expected. We received very little information about the surrounding area, local recommendations or suggestions to enhance our stay. We also arranged for a private chef to prepare dinner at the villa one evening, but the payment arrangements were never clearly confirmed in advance, which created some unnecessary uncertainty. Overall: Villa Morellino has so much going for it. The setting, views, privacy, spaciousness and beautiful pool make it a wonderful base for exploring Tuscany. We made some fantastic memories during our stay, and the property certainly has the potential to offer an exceptional experience. With some attention to seating comfort, basic household supplies, clearer descriptions of amenities and more proactive guest communication, the overall experience could be significantly improved. These are relatively small details, but collectively they make a real difference, particularly when hosting a group of 10. We enjoyed our time in Tuscany and hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended.
