Villa San Bastiano (30 Sep – 6 Oct) Flavia (Representative) – Friendly, Informative and Professional. Flavia walked me through all of the property particulars, as well as, power usage limitations. All the property particulars and requirements are fully explained in the voucher (PDF) you´ll received upon payment-in-full. There is NO “Welcome Kit” as stated in the voucher. Some in my party failed to follow the limitations (detailed by Flavia on check-in), and we tripped a circuit breaker which affected serval items on the property – washer/dryer, pool pump, etc. The issue was rectified immediately by the owner, and we encountered no other instances of problems. Furio (Owner) – GREAT and Entertaining!! Matre’d at the restaurant and maintenance troubleshooter. Can´t wait to see him and his family again! The Property – AMAZING!! Without exception, everyone´s initial observation of Villa San Bastiano was expressed in superlatives. We had all seen pictures or videos of the property prior to our arrival, and NONE of those online exposures did justice to beauty and majesty of the actual property. The views of the town of Monsumanno Terme to the west and mountains to the east were breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and immaculate. Every conceivable appliance was available for guest use, including an espresso machine, washer AND dryer, dishwasher, and HUGE refrigerator. There is also a restaurant operated by the owners, which is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 1930 – 2130. The property was expansive, serenely quiet, and restful. You will be confronted with amazing sunrises and spectacular and colorful sunsets. There is a sunroom spa, as well as a separate spa located further down the property on the observation deck. The pool is adequately large, but sun-heated during the day; so, wait until at least 1400 to take a dip or you might suffer hypothermia. During the summer months, it´s probably much more temperate. The online photos or videos do NOT do the property justice! Some of my guests are already planning to return, and I will also be back for another stay in the near future. Highly RECOMMENDED!

Het is prachtige oude villa met enorm mooi tuin met zwembad in een prachtige omgeving. De verdieping waar wij verbleven heeft grote slaapkamers (3) en keuken en woonkamer. Wij waren er 8 dagen en dan is 1 set handdoeken een beetje weinig. Het zwembadwater is erg koud maar om even af te koelen prima. Als je bij het zwembad ligt waan je je alleen op de wereld, het is er zo rustig. Alle bekende stadjes zijn vanuit Pongibossi goed met de auto te bereiken. Een auto is een must want je zit wel even rijden van Pongibossi af. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] It is a beautiful old villa with a huge garden with swimming pool in beautiful surroundings. The floor where we stayed has large bedrooms (3) and a kitchen and living room. We were there for 8 days and 1 set of towels is a bit tight. The pool water is very cold, but great for cooling off. When you lie by the pool you feel like you are alone in the world, it is so peaceful. All well-known towns can be easily reached by car from Pongibossi. A car is a must because it is quite a drive from Pongibossi.

Fabulous property and very comfortable. Our host Arianna was extremely helpful and even assisted us with transport as we didn't have a car. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Der Gastgeber, das Haus und die Umgebung waren super. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Ein kleines Manko war der Pool. Der Pool ist etwas abgesetzt vom Haus. Man muss über eine kleine Straße laufen. Es sind zwar nur 20m aber das war uns leider nach der Beschreibung des Hauses nicht klar. Ansonsten alles Top. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We were completely satisfied. The host, the house and the surroundings were great. Everything was clean and tidy. A small drawback was the pool. The pool is slightly separated from the house. You have to walk across a small street. It's only 20m but unfortunately that wasn't clear to us from the description of the house. Otherwise everything was great.
