Tenuta Tizzauli is very well located in the Chianti region half way between Firenze and Siena. We stayed in the Rosa appartment for week and had a great time. The appartment was very clean and comfortable. the pool is nice. There is no need for AC even in the middle of summer as the place is nice and cool. It is perfectly located for short trips in the Chianty region, wine tasting, trip to Firenze, etc.
THe only problem we had is the Internet connection(or rather the lack of). It says there is Wifi but in reality it doesn't work at all. The bandwidth is so low that it takes hours to load a web page.
Note from the owner: we have had a problem with the Wi-Fi system but now we have solved the problem by installing stronger units in the apartments, now it's working correctly.

Wij hebben 2 geweldige weken gehad. Het huisje (7) was heel leuk, met een grote privétuin erbij. Voor onze kinderen was met name het zwembad echt perfect. Het loopt schuin af waardoor ze tot ver in het water konden staan. Onze jongste is pas 4 en dan is het toch fijn om te weten dat je er niet de hele tijd bij hoeft te zijn. De beheerder is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Enige minpuntje waren de spinnenwebben. Verder zou ik iedereen deze locatie aanbevelen. Heerlijk gelegen in het Toscaanse landschap.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We have had two great weeks. The house (7) was very nice, with a large private garden there. For our children, especially the pool was perfect. It runs diagonally so that they could stand in the water. Our youngest is only 4 and it is nice to know that you do not have to be alert all of the time. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the cobwebs but I would recommend anyone this place. Superbly situated in the Tuscan countryside.

We absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was calm and friendly, the views were spectacular and the pictures on the website were not deceiving it all - it was better than the pictures!! We were very impressed with the owners who were helpful and kind. This has been the highlight of our 3 week tour of Italy and we highly recommend this destination! The villa was clean, well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to come back here someday. Carol M. Pasadena, California USA

Location agréable (belle piscine)avec propriétaires sympathiques et attentionnés.Seul l'équipement de la cuisine est restreint (pas de micro ondes ni four ni grill pain).
Les villes d'ORVIETO, SIENNE, ARREZZO, CORTONA, FOIANO, ST GIMINIANO, FLORENCE valent le déplacement.
A faire absolument à 5 minutes de la location sur la route de FOIANO (B and B avec petit bonhomme à l'entrée) : restaurant rapport qualité/prix et service/accueil exceptionnels : POGGIO SANT ANGELO
ex : 6 menus avec desserts et vins locaux pour 100E; soirée JAZZ le vendredi soir avec 5 plats locaux + vins pour 30E = génial et excellent

To make absolutely at only 5 minutes from the rental on the road to Foiano (B and B with little guy at the door): Restaurant with an excellent quality / price and service / hospitality proportion POGGIO SANT'ANGELO: e.g. 6 menus with desserts and local wines for € 100; JAZZ evening on Friday night with 5 dishes and local wines for € 30 = great !
