The property was fantastic, and the hosts were wonderful. A warm welcome on our arrival, along with an amazing tour of the adjoining apartments of the people who own the whole property, who were not in residence. The pool was immaculate, as was the whole place...for an old house, with lots of beams and wooden floors, there was not a speck of dust or cobwebs anywhere, immaculate. It was wonderful to sit on the kitchen veranda, with a coffee looking at the beautiful sunrise, most and mountains of the gorgeous view..not a sound to heard other than the little hens below. Completely idyllic. The outside space at the front gave lots of options for dining or sitting with a glass of wine..was lovely. The tower bedroom was super, all with required supplies, soft towels etc. very comfy bed. The little store/bar opposite and to the left, was a gem of a find, which we didnt realise was a store until the last day. Amazing coffee served there, and a welcoming bar in the evening. Overall, it was an amazing place. Would certainly stay again.

Locatie is zoals de foto's onthullen, uit een sprookje gegrepen. De voorzieningen in het huisje zijn basic maar voor vakantie voldoende. Bedden zijn goed alhoewel voor mij (1.90mtr) iets te klein. 's-Avonds vertoeven onder de blauwe regenstruik is natuur het allermooiste. Daarom zou de eigenaar er goed aan doen een een gemakkelijker bankje met comfortabelere stoelen neer te zetten. Tenslotte zou ik het hele gedeelte voor de ingang voorzien van een houten vlonder omdat de grond heel drassig en vies wordt bij regen. De contactpersoon is super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Tijdens vakantie via Whatsapp contact voor vragen en direct antwoord. Helaas is de het wifi signaal op het park onvoldoende toereikend voor het huisje. Voor wie rust wil is dit een absolute aanrader.

Villa Lamone is a charming old house located close to sympathic small village of Ambra. (20 min walk or 4 min drive). All the rooms are functional and have a lot of character. You surely need a car which gives you the choice to visit the most famous places in Toscana. Lamone has really nice outside garden with a reasonable size pool. The house however might need some updating/refressing to be perfect. But with the right attitude it gives you a real country side Toscana experience. And the owner Mrs Lea was allways ready to help and full of energy.
