This picture was taken at Saturnia, one of my most favorite places in Tuscany. It was taken around 7 am... I would get there every day at 5.30 when the sun was first up and no one was there except for the magic and me.

We were driving this serpentines all the time between the cities, so that we see more of the classic tuscan landscape. One time we were driving to Volterra when we saw this massive landart rings above the golden wheat fields. They just looked great and we had to stop to fool around them.

As a part of our tour of Rome we had the privilege of wandering through the Colosseum, and out of the shadows of the outer passageway we were suddenly drawn into the rays of afternoon sunlight, through which we saw a cross in the midst of an archway - quite a stunning sight!
